Summer Shindig: Ridge, White, & Blue

Mark your calendars for a fun summer evening with neighbors at our Summer Shindig on Saturday, June 27th from 5:30 –7:30 PM! We’re coming together to have a fun, relaxed get-together with some games including corn hole, some refreshing water balloon fun, and free sweet treats to help everyone cool off.

Join us for some friendly contests including a Water Balloon Toss Contest, Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest, and Patriotic Pet Costume Contest! See the links below for the contest sign ups.

We expect to have the Kona Ice, Wanna Taco Bout Burgers, and the Sourpuss Lemonade trucks. The first 100 visitors of the Kona Ice truck will get a free serving! Be sure to visit the Wanna Taco Bout Burger truck to try the Melon Ridge Burger!

Patriotic Pet Costume Contest: 5:30 pm
Check-in: 5:30pm sharp
Voting: 5:45 – 6:00 pm

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest: 6:15 pm
Check-in: 6:15 pm
Drawing: 6:30-7:00 pm
Voting: 7:00-7:15 pm

Water Balloon Toss Contest: 7:15 pm
Check-in: 7:15 pm
Contest: 7:30 pm – until the last winner stands

The first place prize of each event will be a $50 VISA-style gift card. Voting for the costume & art contest will be by the public by round of applause. Any ties will be called by the HOA Board.

Visit the sign up links below to view the contest rules and give the event organizers a heads up on how many plan to participate. Everyone can still join the contests same day, space permitting.

The event will be taking place on Dover Drive between Melon Ridge Loop, south of Tract C. This section of Dover Drive will be closed from approximately 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Food trucks will be located on Melon Ridge Loop north of Tract C so traffic is recommended to detour south on Melon Ridge Loop.

This event is open to the public – friends and family are encouraged to attend! Please note, there will not be public restrooms at this event so please plan accordingly!
